WKTS and TenderEasy to provide a self-service freight solution

STOCKHOLM DEC 12, 2016

A powerful self-service freight procurement solution is launched by Transwide, part of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services, in association with TenderEasy.

The new solution brings together Transwide TMS and their unique database of over 40,000 pre-qualified carriers with the advanced web-based procurement solution from TenderEasy.

The result is an easy-to-use and flexible procurement solution providing a one-stop-shop to streamline the freight procurement process. Users can search the carrier database by key sourcing criteria, issue Requests for Quotation and use powerful algorithms to optimize the results ensuring the best possible service and price combinations. A much larger marketplace can be explored while automation drastically reduces the time and effort involved.

The new solution does not stop at awarding a contract: Transwide supports the complete procurement lifecycle. Pre-tender data analysis, supplier management, automated carrier allocation and freight audit are all available ensuring the agreed rates are applied and customers achieve the actual savings projected by the tender outcome.

Fabrice Maquignon, CEO of WKTS, says “We are proud to partner with TenderEasy in offering our clients a one-stop-shop freight procurement suite. With the goal of providing the best possible transport procurement experience, we have created a global and easy-to use web-based platform for tendering, with a powerful optimization algorithm.

Johan Vagerstam, CEO of TenderEasy, says “We are very pleased to be partnering with a well-known brand like Transwide and their broad client portfolio. The joint solution will help customers integrate freight procurement into a broader process. They have control all the way from pre-tender data preparation to supplier relationship, contract management, order communication and settlement”.
